It's the night of the shooting stars on Magix and the Winx are ready for a magic party at Alfea. But a little creature called Twinkly reaches them after a long journey, bringing an urgent message: they are the only ones who can save the stars! Following their little new friend, the Winx will set off on a cosmic adventure guided by the Lumens, creatures that generate magic stardust. Thanks to them, the six fairies will get a new amazing light-based transformation to fight against unpredictably mysterious threats that are endangering the Magic Universe. Will they beat the shadows that loom over the stars? And who is hiding behind all this?

The new chapter in the saga, the eighth, scheduled for spring (in Italy). 

There will be a traveling exhibition with curiosities, original sketches, unpublished drawings, interactive activities. The presentation was at Lucca Comics and Games, then moving to Milan and other European countries. 

Still in the pipeline is the expected live action television series (with real actors) co-produced with Netflix and always focused on the famous fairies.

''Sirenix Fairy Bubbles'' is one of the new collection dolls inspired by Winx Season 8. 

The collection includes Bloom, Flora and Stella Sirenix. Each doll comes with a pair of small and rigid wings and things to make soap bubbles.

In the boxes we can see that the Sirenix transformation has been renewed by changing the original design.

This collection goes on sale in Italy on March 15, 2019 for a price of €30,99 each.

Recently in an interview Iginio gave the following information:
Winx Club season 8 arrives at the beginning of 2019 on Rai YoYo (Italy).

There will be 26 episodes of 22 minutes each and will be broadcast in February.

The series has suffered a graphic restyling and the fairies return to their origins.

They will be able to enjoy some powers that they had in the first episodes. For example, a very powerful level of magic can be used again, the Sirenix! a very powerful and ancient level of magic that comes from the power of the ocean, it's extremely difficult to obtain.

Fairies! Saturday 20 October 2018, 11:30 am, the Winx will parade on the red carpet of the Rome Film Festival, thanks to Alice in the city, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica!

At the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018, Rainbow showed prototypes of their upcoming cover books and activity magazines about Winx Club season 8.

In one of the books the title is "Winx Cosmix". It has already been officially confirmed that COSMIX is the name of the new transformation of Winx season 8.

The new yellow star-shaped creature is named Twinkly.

At the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018, Rainbow has shown on its stand books and magazines prototypes about Winx season 8. In addition, a new star-shaped creature that possibly it's related to the new Winx transformation.

Animation Magazine has published this new little synopsis: "In this new chapter, the Winx fairies meet a funny little creature named Twinkly and embark on a new adventure to save the stars."
