Rainbow has exceptionally opened the doors of his "magical" studios to tell and illustrate the many innovations and projects of this autumn and 2019.

We start with Winx Club, a very successful classic brand in the world, which will turn 15 in 2019. From their debut the Winx have grown, they have been able to reinvent themselves, keep up with the times (if not even anticipate them) conquering entire generations of every latitude of the world and becoming, to all intents and purposes, an international "evergreen". The Winx brand is distributed in more than 100 countries. Rainbow produced 8 television series plus 2 other television series along with Netflix; 3 film films; live shows and international musicals.

2019 will be the year of the party for Winx Club:

➤ Traveling exhibition in the magical world of fairies including stories, curiosities, unpublished drawings, novelties and interactive activities. It will be inaugurated at "Lucca Comics and Games" on October 31st to move then in Milan, and continue in the European countries in 2019.

➤ The next chapter of the saga, the new series 8, which will see the fairies in a new transformation, with the return of the most popular Winx Club - Enchantix, Sirenix and Butterflix.

➤ Great news in 2019 also the new live show, which will arrive in theaters all over the world: a great show that will enchant the audience with special effects, avant-garde technologies, holograms and spectacular light effects.

➤ Finally, the highly anticipated live action television series co-produced with Netflix, which will see the Winx transform into "flesh and bones" to continue to excite the large audience of young adults.

Recently BM Srl interviewed to Iginio Straffi.

We're going to highlight the new information about Winx Club and new Rainbow Srl projects.

Iginio Straffi said...:

➣ "My vision was to make them (Winx Club) live the first 15 years and then consolidate a brand that would become a classic, and so it was."

➣ "We worked hard to avoid repetitions in the Winx Club saga."

➣ "We are currently producing the 8th series, which will be released for the 15 years of Winx."

➣ "With Netflix we are also working on a live action inspired by our magical fairies, with a series of a higher target of girls (15-30 years) than the core target of the animated series. With this new series we're going to address a target market of new fans."

➣ In de future: "... growing important markets such as Asia, South America, Brazil and Mexico."

➣ "Rainbow is expanding to offer content for children, families and adults, with new synergies and productions with an international design."

➣ "We are also developing a series of new genre for Rainbow, the world of thriller, thanks to the acquisition of Colorado Film Productions."

➣ "After the Italian success of the film "The Girl in the Fog" by Donato Carrisi, which was also sold internationally, we are working on a second film by the same author, "The Labyrinth Man"."

➤ In September 2015, for the first time, Iginio Straffi mentioned that season 8 was in production.

➤ First transformation image revealed in March 2018.

➤ Second transformation images revealed in April 2018.

➤ Third transformation image revealed in September 2018.

➤ First animation images revealed in September 2018.

Rainbow, the Italian content powerhouse, is bringing two of its big kids’ animation brands to stand E10 at BLE. Brand Licensing Europe takes place October 9-11, 2018 in London, UK.

Season 8 (26 episodes) will premiere at the beginning of 2019 to celebrate 15 years since launch. The anniversary will also see Rainbow launch a global marketing plan that will reach out to the millions of Winx fans across the world and involve lots of exciting and engaging activities and involve the brand’s licensing partners.
